To attach ourselves to something greater begins with practicing the ability to see beyond our current reality. This is where vision boards, Pinterest, meditation, imagination, affirmation, and dreaming comes into play.

It is the concept that you must see yourself as having it or being it before it can come into fruition. You must understand that behind every dream and idea there is an even greater dream and idea that God has waiting for you. Holding on to our small imaginations and expectations can limit us. We can be biased based on the environment we are in, the people we are around, and the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves.

We must understand that our brains are designed to protect us. So, whenever we try to think of doing something out of our norm we feel fear, anxiety, doubt, or lost. Those feelings are natural, it is a part of who we are, and they are not going anywhere any time soon.

The challenge is to push past those feelings and believe that you are attached to something greater than what you can see or what your mind can perceive. You may not know exactly what it is, or how you are going to get there, but you trust that it will come to pass.
